Job Description
Gilead's mission is to discover, develop and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. The Director, Oncology Omnichannel Marketing, is responsible for Omnichannel marketing within Gilead Oncology, including strategic oversight and day-to-day implementation. The successful candidate will partner seamlessly with brand team counterparts and cross-functional partners to ensure the brand strategy is pulled through. Additionally, he/she/they will oversee agency relationships and leverage customer insights and metrics to make key media and channel strategy decisions for the brand(s).
This position is office-based Onsite at either our Foster City, CA, or Parsippany, NJ, location.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Global Omnichannel Strategy:
Lead innovation efforts to act on leverage points and triggers in the patient/provider journey; being a thought partner on data strategy to inspire results in these critical moments
Partner with commercial operations, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders as necessary to identify and implement key technology-solution needs
Develop strategic, tactical, and media plans in partnership with brand leads
Operational KPIs:
Define and regularly track key operational performance metrics for key commercial channels
Align with cross-functional partners on reporting needs; being accountable for delivering KPIs, insights, and strategic recommendations regularly to US Leadership
Optimize initiatives/campaigns based on metrics with tangible action items
Leadership:
Manage relationships and overall project management with cross-functional partners: Gilead IT, brand team partners, external vendors, and Commercial Operations stakeholders.
Highly regarded as an internal thought leader, proactively identifying and developing solutions to bring continual innovation to Gilead
Lead budget management for digital initiatives, resource allocation, and project prioritization
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience
OR
Masters' Degree and Ten Years' Experience
OR
PhD and Eight Years' Experience
