Summary Description

We are currently seeking dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individuals for the position of Director of Strategic Account Management (SAM) for our commercial product Orgovyx®.  The Director of Strategic Account Management is a field-based role of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) focused on account decision makers with responsibility for population-based formulary, acquisition, or adoption decisions (C-Suite / D-Suite / Pharmacy) within top identified Academic, IDN, Large Oncology Group practices, and Urology In-office Dispensing practices. (IODs).  The SAMs will be responsible for developing and executing corporate-level account strategy, serving as a centralized point of contact for population-based decision makers within dedicated accounts.  The SAMs will coordinate high-level account strategy and activities with field sales and marketing as well as with Alliance Partners for co-promoted products.  The SAMs will also be responsible for consistently being effective in targeted strategic account management, support, and coordination. The role of the SAM does not have sales generation responsibilities. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive account management, account planning, and influence mapping within strategic hospital-based (Academic and IDN) medical centers.
  • Convey the Orgovyx distribution model, and relay Orgovyx contracts and performance metrics at Quarterly Business Reviews (for appropriate customers)
  • Provide input and expertise to the SAM Lead that will lead to key account management strategies while leading the execution of the identified strategies across the SAM accounts with cross-functional partners. Own the account strategy and formalize business planning for designated accounts.
  • Work with all defined cross-functional partners to develop and execute specific account segment strategies.
  • Gain / pull-through practice formulary / pathway positioning for Orgovyx.
  • Identify and map key formulary and business decision makers within the strategic account targets.
  • Serve as a centralized point of contact for population-based decision makers at assigned community Urology and Oncology IODs and hospital-based strategic accounts to gain insights and enable access to Orgovyx for appropriate patients.
  • Coordinate activities with the Myovant marketing team, market access team, and the field sales teams to drive core objectives across the identified strategic account targets.
  • Address common Orgovyx dispensing (IOD and pharmacy) obstacles and challenges.
  • Identify access points to strategic accounts to optimize UOAMs ability to perform their demand-generation focus.
  • Maintain high-level communications with the field-sales teams and the Alliance Team members about strategic accounts to inform the demand-generating efforts of field sales.
  • Analyze product and competitor volume, trends, and growth for assigned accounts.
  • Represent Myovant at key meetings, functions, and conferences as well as other venues as appropriate.
  • Deliver on identified MBOs (Management Business Objectives) on a quarterly basis.
  • Conduct business in accordance with company compliance guidelines. Maintain a strong culture of compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS (Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Arts in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Account Management experience years or previous manager level roles in biotech and pharmaceutical industry
  • Strategic Account Management is defined as coverage of Systems versus Sites of Care and primary MBO responsibility for Demand Facilitation versus Demand Generation.
    • Relevant experience within Community Oncology, Academic, IDNs, Community Urology, and expertise with In-Office dispending, IODs.
  • In-depth knowledge of the US Healthcare industry including and understanding of key stakeholders and delivery of care models.
  • Ability for up to 70% travel including overnights and weekends for important meetings, group conferences, etc.
  • Candidate must live in the Southeast region of the United States with a preference towards candidates who live in Atlanta, Miami, Jacksonville, or Charlotte.
