The Role:
Moderna is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist, Production Planning/ Scheduling. The individual will perform varying Planning and Scheduling activities in support of Modernas Clinical Manufacturing at the Cambridge/ Norwood facility. Focus will be on Planning, developing and maintaining a site level detail production schedule, for all assigned resources to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of the clinical production plans. Collaborate with the Process Chemistry & HTOps Operations team to identify/ highlight and resolve risks to plan/schedule adherence and escalate where necessary through the structured Tier meetings.
Heres What Youll Do:
Work directly with Operations to ensure all required clinical production is adequately scheduled to meet program timelines. Balance production requirements with MS&T and engineering teams.
Create and maintain detailed site plan/production for operations related production areas: material bundling, process intermediates, manufacturing, drug substance/product and maintenance/support operations
Participate in daily Tier meeting with cross functional team to align and facilitate discussions on manufacturing updates, quality events, shipping schedules and facility operations.
Responsible for developing production schedule to meet demand requirements including rough cut capacity planning, and finite daily scheduling.
Responsible for committing delivery dates on firm orders based on Production and Quality capacity requirements planning.
Work with the Materials Management team to resolve any discrepancies as it relates to JIT deliveries.
Ensures translation of Production Plan into Material Requirements for intermediates and starting materials.
Define sequence, establish priorities for all process orders at each work center and track the execution of the orders.
Gather and analyze data for metrics and KPIs for assigned areas.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:
Bring 3 to 5 years professional experience in production planning/ Scheduling from a Supply Chain or manufacturing operation
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related field.
Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrix organization.
Analytical skills and system driven mindset with critical thinking abilities
Good Collaborative work style to be part of a team to identify process gaps and develop solutions.
Knowledge of GMP requirements and MRP/ERP systems: experience in SAP, a plus.
Well organized a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work
