We are looking for a Principal Pharmacokineticist in the Preclinical Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (PPK/PD) group. We would like the person in this role to support PK and PK/PD requirements for Discovery and IND-stage project teams. This person will be preparing and presenting the appropriate analyses to internal project teams and senior management, as well as writing summary reports and documents to support regulatory filings.

A day in the life of a Principal in PPK/PD may look like:

  • Collaborate effectively with various groups within Regeneron, including Therapeutic Proteins, TFAs, Assay Development, Precision Medicine, Preclinical Operations and PPK/PD management in order to develop a PK strategy for each project.
  • Effectively communicate project team queries, requests and expectations (i.e. timing and results) from the Project Teams to management.
  • Conduct and report analyses using data derived from preclinical studies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant scientific literature as well as regulatory guidance as they pertain to PK/PD.

This might be the role for you if:

  • You want exposure to molecules across multiple Therapeutic Areas
  • You have excellent communication (written/verbal), presentation and leadership skills
  • You enjoy a fast-paced and collaborative environment

In order to be considered qualified for this position you must have a minimum of a PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Biology/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, with relevant industry experience (Biotech or Pharma). We would like this experience to include in-depth theoretical and applied understanding of PK and PD, in order to describe and understand the pharmacology/biology of therapeutic proteins. A proven ability to plan, coordinate, oversee PK and/or PK/PD studies, and analyze PK/PD data is crucial.

Knowledge of and experience with relevant PK/PD software applications (e.g., WinNonLin) is desirable, as is experience in drafting PK reports and relevant IND sections. Previous experience with protein/monoclonal antibody therapeutics is required. Additional experience with other modalities, including siRNA, gene therapy, CAR-T and other modalities is highly preferred.
