The Cloud Architect will be responsible to architect, design and deliver cloud solutions on Azure and AWS. The Cloud Architect will be proficient in Cloud Architecture patterns and lead the design and deployment of cloud solutions in Azure and AWS. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for migrating on-premises workloads to AWS.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Architect, design and deliver cloud solutions on Azure and AWS

  • Establish technical and security architecture in Azure & AWS for various types of enterprise apps/workload

  • Lead the design and deployment of large-scale projects including Cloud initiatives that have significant enterprise-wide impact

  • Demonstrate a mastery of various cloud technologies(Azure, AWS and GCP).

  • Knowledge of GitHub, Linux, Python, Java, C/C++, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and NO SQL databases

  • Knowledge of various PAAS, SAAS technologies.

  • Coordinates and manage day to day operations as well as participates in project work and changes to various cloud environment

  • Establishes infrastructure automation, best practices etc.

  • Knowledge of architecting and deploying microservices, serverless application

  • Knowledge of Healthcare and Pharma Industry

  • Experience with migrating Data Center workloads to cloud.

  • Understand Monitoring, Logging, Single Sign on, Disaster Recovery etc.

  • Knowledge of various development frameworks

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 8+ years of relevant experience and BA/BS Degree or equivalent OR 6+ years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree or equivalent
    • Minimum of 10 years IT architect experience
    • Minimum 6 years of software development/coding experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of Cloud Architecture experience


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience managing data center operations
    • Experience coding in higher level programming language, Python, Ruby, JSON, etc
    • A keen interest in new technologies
    • Willingness to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex environment
    • Innovative and ability to think outside the box for creative problem solving
    • Mentors and coaches colleagues and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
    • Comfortable working in cross functional and multidisciplinary teams
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
