The Cloud Portfolio manager will be responsible to manage all aspects of the Cloud portfolio including the management of the migration of the on-premises workloads to the Cloud. The portfolio manager will be responsible for Cloud Financial management and drive cost optimization efforts.

Essential Duties and Functions:

Manage all aspects of the Cloud Portfolio with Project Management discipline

Manage migration of workloads and storage to Cloud

Develop Show Back, Charge Back, Cost Allocation, and budget forecast models

Financial oversight and management of Cloud operating budgets and/or chargeback to customers

Identify cost optimization opportunities and partner with cloud architects to resolve

Present business reviews to senior management team regarding progress

Define tagging guidelines to ensure appropriate categorization of costs

Define guardrails to optimize cost performance

Define requirements for alerting when costs are higher than expected within a billing cycle

Develop and administer reporting and tracking system of all TCO/economic related activities

Plan, submit and Report on project costs and product cost

Define Reserve Instance, On-demand, and Spot instance strategy and guidelines

Coordinates and consolidates efforts associated with vendor management

Responsible for contributing to the “All things cloud site”.

Lead Lunch-and-Learns for the customers of the Cloud Platform.

Responsible for creating or contributing to resources (instructions, blogs, newsletter articles, etc) to accelerate cloud adoption

Be a Cloud evangelist

Basic Qualifications:

Associate's Degree and Twelve Years Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Ten Years Experience OR Master's Degree and Eight Years Experience OR PhD and Two Years Experience

Minimum of 10 years experience in Portfolio and IT financial management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial modeling and analysis of large-scale IT infrastructure, application and/or service investments

Understands Cloud computing technologies can anticipate workload transition challenges

Willingness to research and self-study to keep technical skills relevant in a highly complex environment

Innovative and ability to think outside the box for creative problem solving

Mentors and coaches colleagues and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement

Comfortable working in cross functional and multidisciplinary teams

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
