Just-Evotec Biologics is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Director, Supply Chain that desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. The Sr. Director, Supply Chain is accountable for building, maintaining and continuously improving a highly effective supply chain function, driving activity to achieve the desired departmental, site and company outcomes. The Director, Supply Chain directs all facets of supply chain and logistics supporting uninterrupted Manufacturing at Just-Evotec Biologics’ manufacturing facilities in Redmond and Seattle, WA. The Sr. Director, Supply Chain provides leadership for purchasing, planning, product logistics and materials management. The Director, Supply Chain will report directly to the Vice President, Site Head.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to develop robust and cost-effective supply chain strategies.
  • Establish Site Supply Chain functions, programs, practices and processes.
  • Build, develop and retain Site Supply Chain team.
  • Oversee the execution of all supply related activities including purchasing, planning, product logistics and materials management for all programs.
  • Partner with site procurement for both direct and indirect purchasing as well as Supplier Relationship Management initiatives.
  • Ability to understand trends, inventory need and forward-looking usage forecasts
  • Maintain and implement Supply Chain Systems at site and maintain master data.
  • Establish program specific scheduling, manufacturing slot allocation and notification processes.
  • Monitor execution of agreed plans, measure and report KPIs.
  • Budget creation, utilization, and variance reporting
  • Escalate supply issues and risks and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity.
  • Participation and experience in a robust supply chain resiliency plan

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations, required.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing/leading supply chain teams, required.
  • 10+ years of experience in Biologics or Pharmaceutical required.
  • CPIM/CSCP certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with using and implementing ERP systems including Procurement solutions such as SAP, Coupa and/or Jaggaer.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and ability to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Possesses proven management skills with experience building and sustaining supply chain teams.
  • Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
  • Focuses on immediate and urgent business needs while driving long term strategic plans.
  • Provides strategy, vision and direction regarding issues that may have company-wide impact.
  • Able to perform and then transition tactical supply chain responsibilities while building Site Supply Chain team.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $185,000 to $215,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
