The Marketing Manager will report into the Director, Professional Marketing.  This position will work across the marketing team to pull through strategies and tactics ensuring the successful Rx-to-OTC switch of NARCAN Nasal Spray. In addition to key responsibilities of executing marketing plans and managing promotional tactics, this role will be a key member of the marketing team and participate in a larger cross functional launch readiness team.

• Serve as a key participant in marketing activities including the Rx-to-OTC launch of NARCAN, HCP activation tactics, building and updating customer presentations, analyzing market performance, and the development and execution of marketing plans.
• Assist marketing leadership in planning and executing marketing plans and the associated budget through:
  • Understanding brand equity and competitive advantage
  • Managing brand positioning
  • Advertising and promotion
  • Evaluating results of marketing programs and making recommendations
• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights to shape and communicate our vision and mission.
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs
• Monitor market trends and research consumer markets and competitors.
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 years pharmaceutical and/or OTC experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with advertising and promotional review process 
• Proven Marketing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals 
• Solid facilitation skills supporting cross-functional teams at varying levels
• Experience with product launches
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills 
• Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment 
• Self-starter and independent performer 
• Ability to establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally as part of a team
• Prioritizes based on agreed business needs and related budgets
• Ability to quickly assess critical situations and identify issue resolutions
