A day in the Life:
  • Performs a variety of complex sample preparation and analysis procedures
  • Works with multiple functional groups to meet business needs
  • Plans and organizes work with periodic supervision
  • Sets up and maintains analytical instrumentation
  • Trains on routine operation, maintenance and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory procedures and guidelines
  • Ensures QA findings are addressed appropriately
  • Communicates project status to project leaders
  • Provides assistance and training to other team members
  • Performs work assignments accurately, and in a timely and safe manner
  • Reviews, interprets, and analyzes data for technical, quality and compliance to protocols, methods, SOPs, client criteria and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as biology, biochemistry, immunology, chemistry, molecular biology or similar
Experience
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
  • OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 3+ years)
  • OR PhD
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Responsible for the regulatory and scientific conduct of immunoassay method development, validation, and troubleshooting in support of pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic, immunogenicity (ADA), and pharmacodynamic studies involving novel therapeutics in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Manual dexterity (pipetting, operate lab equipment, etc.)
  • Experience performing immunoassays, ELISA or similar testing
  • Follow lab safety guidelines and use appropriate aseptic techniques
  • Looking for someone who can be a Lab Leader, assist the Associate Group Leader, run samples and help organize projects.
  • Communicate effectively and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
  • Manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame
  • Maintain a laboratory notebook and complete all documentation with clear and accurate language and according to the Standard Operating Procedures
