Laboratory Manager - 2nd Shift

The Opportunity

Manage activities within the assigned Laboratories to achieve maximum efficiencies and meet production throughput requirements while maintaining high quality, compliant testing. Work closely with Specialty Plasma and Program Managers to ensure that the Lab supports product supply. Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., M - F. Weekend flexibility required.

• Manage quality control activities to ensure compliance with company standards and GMP regulatory guidelines
• Oversee activities of testing/development of analytical methods/laboratory program
• Ensure testing and validation of analytical methods and deviation investigations are completed
• Collaborate and ensure quality control training and implement corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science preferred.
• Medical Technologist (MT) designation preferred.
• Valid State of Tennessee Laboratory Supervisor License, proof of working towards this license, or willingness to obtain license preferred.
• 5 years of laboratory supervisory experience• Management/demonstrated leadership experience• Knowledge of test methods, method validation, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
