Manager Data Governance

This role supports Global Development’s data governance activities within the operational domain. This includes the development and maintenance of processes, policies, and guidelines for administering the organization's data and records and ensure the operational data processes are efficient and effective from end-to-end. Ensures compliance to data standards and data curation policies and processes in partnership with Functional Areas. Responsible for coordinating the management of Global Development’s master data and ontologies and serves as a point of contact for governance, data quality and protection issues.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

• Drive consistency of operational data implementing the Data Governance strategy across Global Developments Clinical Operational Domain.

• Support the design, definition, and delivery of an effective operational data exchange between Regeneron and its strategic partners e.g., CROs.

• Support and help maintain a Global Developments data governance framework with the business objective of treating data as an asset, ensuring quality of data.

• Support the methodologies to define ontologies, taxonomies, and metadata for information management at the Domain level and support curation at the Global Development level.

• Capture and document metadata and ontologies for Global Development data and records.

• Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards and data protection standards, processes, and procedures within the domain.

• Support the development and maintenance of Global Development data maps including authoritative systems and owners.

• Support the creation of automated, scalable approaches for data quality issue identification and support mitigation within the domain.

• Partner with members of Global Development, other Regeneron Departments and external third parties, to continuously validate and improve the quality of internal and external data.

• Support the development and analysis of metrics for adoption and compliance with operational governance processes.

• Help ensure alignment to security and privacy requirements/standards.

This role might be for you if:

Proficient with Data Governance Principles, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Lineage, Policy and Process, Metadata Management and Cataloguing, etc. in addition to experience working with modern data practices including DMBOK and FAIR principles.

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the pharma/biotech, a CRO, consulting in the industry or in a similar heavily regulated environment.

Salary Range (annually)

$108,200.00 - $176,600.00
