General Labs - Proposal Assessment Team

Richmond, VA

A day in the Life:
  • Become part of “Proposal Assessment Team”
  • Perform background research into new and existing Companies/Business coming from BD reps.
  • Fielding requests for RFI’s, Assay breakdown’s, Quotes, ect.
  • Tracking and managing data and information across multiple groups and departments.
  • Self-managed, independent and highly organized candidate needed.
  • No onsite lab work and fully remote.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as biology, biochemistry, immunology, chemistry, molecular biology or similar
Experience
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
  • OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 3+ years)
  • OR PhD
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Experience performing assays, R&D, Validation, Production processes and over all lab functionalities.
  • Follow lab safety guidelines and use appropriate aseptic techniques
  • Communicate effectively and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
  • Cooperate with coworkers within an organized team environment or work alone with supervision
  • Handle time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame
