Senior Specialist, SAP Business Systems

The Senior Specialist, SAP Business Systems will report directly to the Manager, Materials Management at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies. The job holder will be responsible for the management of ERP implementation and updates. They will work cross-functionally for successful implementation, evaluation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Reports to                Manager, Materials Management

Work Location         Thousand Oaks, CA 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of ERP and other business applications. Provide support for these business applications.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders, and assist in developing project plans and timelines to achieve successful implementation.
• Specify and manage ERP implementation and updates.
• Guide internal and external resources through ERP implementation phases, evaluation, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Interface with ERP vendor and ensure quality (performance, cost, and timeliness) of services delivered.
• Identify improvements in business operation workflow and ensure proper implementation in ERP and other business applications.
• Train and coach end-users.
• Develop and maintain metrics for ERP activities and projects.
• Develop and maintain ERP related procedure and forms.
• Assist in the revision of Supply Chain SOP's and other controlled documents.
• Support projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in information technology, computer science, business management, biotechnology or similar preferred.
• Certification in Oracle SaaS ERP or SAP ERP business process integration preferred (not required).
• 7+ years' experience as an ERP specialist or higher role in a related industry.
• A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Some IT project management experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits:

• $120,000-$130,000 salary, depending on experience.
