/PROJECT:

The Product Supply Chain Management Intern will work on 1 major or 1-2 minor projects over the 3-month internship.  The project(s) will be matched with the intern’s skills and interests.  Projects will be focused on continuous improvement in PSCM processes that include launch management, product strategies, SKU strategies, and supply chain scorecards and reporting.

Key project for 2023 is establishing supply chain scorecards that provide executives with insights to the overall supply chain performance from a product and network perspective.  Applying a balanced scorecard approach is a management system approach for improving performance that turns strategy into action.  This project develops data analytics, financial and supply chain metrics with the intersection of supply strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working directly with Product Supply Chain Owners, Launch Manager and/or Product Artwork Owners.
  • Working with cross-functional stakeholders across the supply chain
  • Attending weekly PSCM meetings and other team meetings (as necessary)

Required Skills:

  • Computer literacy is required, proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential, experience with Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Visio, Power BI and Project are a plus.
  • Must possess the ability to perform routine and non-routine tasks under minimal supervision while modeling advanced measures of initiative, self-direction, objectivity and team advocacy.
  • Excellent documentation, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Positive attitude, independent worker who can contribute in a dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work virtually using collaboration tools like Zoom, Skype, Outlook and Teams.

Desired Skills:

  • 1-3 years of supply chain, finance or business focus as a student and/or experience preferred
  • Business process management, project management, LEAN and DMAIC methodologies

Qualifications/Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in a university undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Finance (or similar)
  • Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program.
  • Must be available to work 40 hours a week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

In the U.S., the hiring range for this position is $ 21.00 to $ 30.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
