GRAIL is seeking a Senior Director, Key Accounts - East to lead a team to establish and integrate GRAIL products and services within health systems and other key accounts.

This individual will possess the capabilities to lead a high-functioning, results-driven team that can fully represent GRAIL’s overall product portfolio and technological platform at a health system and/or payor level and evolve our value proposition to surpass the account’s needs.

Developing business relationships with key influencers and executives while creating an engaging and sustainable customer experience with our key accounts is critical to success. This role will act as a player/coach and lead the East Region of the US.

You Will
  • Create, implement, and execute overall health systems strategy for the East Region. Be a player/coach and lead for the direct reports in the East Region, ensuring performance, accountability and results for the entire region.
  • Lead a high functioning, results oriented team with a strong focus on fostering a strong one-team mindset across GRAIL. Establish and drive to clear individual and team objectives and metrics that align with overall strategy. 
  • Deeply collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships within GRAIL to deliver for partners, break down barriers to enable you and your team’s success, and bring voice of customer to GRAIL product and value proposition
  • Develop a deep network within target accounts to deeply understand account’s objectives, goals, drivers, and challenges
  • Prepare integrated account plans outlining strategies and anticipating needs and challenges to successful customer interactions, implementing the right internal mechanism as appropriate to mitigate them
  • Understand current state and emerging trends that may inform broad market or account-specific strategies including areas such as cancer prevention and screening, business operations affecting practice management, etc.
  • Ensure access to GRAIL's products are achieved and in a compliant manner

Your Background Will Include
  • Minimum of BS/BA + 17 years of experience OR MS + 15 years of experience with demonstrated strong business development and account management experience leading substantive revenue generating accounts
  • People leadership experience in complex environments, particularly related to the healthcare ecosystem. Proven track record of effectively coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success implementing product and service solutions with health systems or health plans in prior roles
  • Ability to build and develop customer relationships including the ability to effectively represent GRAIL and its products to senior executives, health care providers, and key thought leaders
  • Innovative thinking and exceptional business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of compliance-related concepts including the laws, regulations and policies that govern marketing and sales activities and the importance of compliance in all job-related function
  • Ability to understand, distill and communicate complex scientific and public health related concepts
  • Experience in partnership models with health systems and payers
  • Health system, oncology and diagnostic experience preferred
  • Track record of working with objective based goals and success in achieving them
  • Ability to travel as needed

The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $164,000 - $278,000. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.

Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
