Job Description

The GREFP FP&A and CapEx Lead is responsible for execution of GREFP Finance deliverables, including but not limited to monthly management reporting, Budget Submissions and Forecast submissions, in addition to leading Finance Business Partnering for Capital Expenditures within GREFP.

A primary function of the role is to provide decision support and analytical support to Real Estate leaders on Capital spend as required or necessary. GREFP Manages over 100 Capital Projects in 4 countries and this individual is responsible for the forecasting and business case/investment proposal support.

The FP&A responsibilities include preparing monthly management reporting slide decks, updating the Power BI Leadership dashboard as well as consolidating commentary from other team members. This role will manage the calendar for GREFP reporting and budgeting and build the executive presentations.

Accountabilities: 40% of Time: Capital Spend Support
  • Finance business partner to the Global Real Estate, Facilities & Procurement Capital functions, providing day-to-day support and analysis for short-term and long-term investment decisions.

  • Analyzing Capital Spend financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and writing commentary for budget owners and management

  • Provide Financial Support for Capital Investment Proposals, partnering with Regional GREFP Heads and Head of Real Estate COEI.

20% of Time: Managing GREFP Monthly deliverables

  • Reconciles headcount on a periodic basis to ensure payroll and headcount reporting is accurate

  • Consolidates commentary from other team members to produce GREFP monthly Reporting Deck.

  • Manage and update the Power BI based Leadership Dashboard (TET-2/TET-3) used for self-service reporting

20% of Time: Budget & Forecast Support

  • Supports the annual MRP Budget, Forecasts (MYC)and Long-Range Forecast (LRF) processes for GREFP areas.

  • Manage schedule of Budget/forecast cycles within GREFP Finance and produces budget templates

  • Lead in the preparation of the MRP Budget and MYC presentations for CEO Reviews, partnering with Head of GREFP

  • Inputting data into TAK/TM1/Hyperion/SAP/JDE and reconciling output

  • On occasion supports the Re-Submission MRP Budget process to update the annual Budget assumptions

20% of Time: Finance Business Partner for GCA US

  • Lead Finance Business Partnering Support for 3 TET-1 within the Global Corporate Affairs organization providing day-to-day support and analysis

  • Support the MRP Budget process and MYC Forecast Process for GCA as well as assisting with monthly reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 6 years or more of experience in financial analysis, planning, corporate accounting and operations accounting, assets, leases, operating expenses, and capital expenditures (previous experience in a G&A finance role preferred)

  • Experience with moderately complex accounting concepts, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), lease accounting standards, IFRS, and SOX

  • Proficiency in financial analysis methods, tools and concepts to prepare forecasts and perform analyses

  • Must have knowledge of Excel, SAP, Ariba, Hyperion, TM1 and other software systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft site of products, including advanced EXCEL modelling skills and creating professional presentations is required.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational/project management skills

  • Experience giving presentations and influencing others

  • Experience working across an organization with multiple functional areas

Preferred

  • MBA

  • Knowledge of drug development and pharmaceutical industry financial environment preferred

  • Travel: Minimal (less than 10%) but as needed for business

  • Willingness to travel to various meetings or sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required
