 We are currently looking to add a New Account Manager-Virology  to our team in Business Development.   In this role you will be responsible for:

The Virology New Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business with strategic target account for virology in the BioPharma market space.  The New Account Manager will also be responsible for growing business through all off-the-shelf and custom production opportunities with current non-Top 5 partners.

 

What can I expect in this role?

 Some key duties in this role include:

  • Will work with Sr. Business Development Manager and Marketing to develop and acquire:
    • Marketing resources/collateral
    • Lead generation software/cloud-based programs
  • Address on average 50 -100 inbound emails each day from internal & external customers
  • Involves and educates other team members and internal customers in work responsibilities
  • Seek opportunities to streamline functions to improve team or department operations
  • Acquire sufficient target accounts and opportunities to help fill BSL-2 and BSL-3 pipeline in new building at Global Virology Center by June 2023.
  • Serve as mediator between the customer and all other internal support functions to assist in the resolution of issues related to ordering, opportunities, etc.
  • Tracks all activities, opportunities, customer communications in Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrate professional written communication skills, including accurate spelling and grammar in non-phone communications
    • Interface with Manufacturing and Logistics to coordinate on-time deliveries based on customer requested delivery dates and system-generated available-to-promise dates.
    • Grows sales and revenue in existing accounts in accordance with company and Business Development goals and objectives
    • Works closely with Business Development Manager, Assay Services on key projects within accounts.  Leverages this relationship to help acquire new business and perform CRO work for new partners.
    • Updates all contracts and agreements to include MSA’s, MTA’s, NDA/CDA’s, SoW’s and others
