Sr. Marketing Mgr., Omnichannel Strategy and Innovative Engagement (TO/US Remote)

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role you will be responsible for enhancing the value of a Rare Disease therapeutic. In this role, you will take a holistic approach to commercializing a therapeutic in an early launch phase. You will integrate both patient and provider perspectives to develop a world class omnichannel engagement ecosystem. In this role, you will have the challenge of bringing an ROI focused approach to baseline digital ecosystem will shaping innovative omnichannel engagement tactics that will shape the future of rare disease marketing at Amgen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a world class rare disease omnichannel engagement strategy and tactical plan with focus on NPP execution & continuous performance management
  • Drive targeted HCP media approach to rapidly reach core customers with deep engagement tactics
  • Manage content creation and approval of derivative content necessary for execution of omnichannel plan by partnering effectively with brand team members and XF team to ensure responsible and effective communications
  • Partner with your broader Brand Team colleagues to support integrated, high quality, execution across customer segments, platforms, and channels
  • Support defining and scaling new digital ecosystem/capabilities, examples but not limited to business rule driven automations, automated webinars, EMR and other technology based tactics, data partnerships, data based triggers, targeted social media efforts if applicable
  • Partner with internal staff to ensure activities are aligned to brand goals, growth drivers, and key messages (compliant with MAC guidance)
  • Budget management for owned areas
  • Serve as key liaison to Marketing Ops

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Support high priority cross functional operating model initiatives to be identified (ex. referral mapping, lab lookback initiatives, pull through of data/patient ID triggers, account level strategies)
  • Involvement in identifying business insight gaps and insight generation plan
  • Ad hoc omnichannel pull through (ex. congress drivers/tangible benefits)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization Or
  • Masters degree and 4 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization or
  • Bachelors degree and 6 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization or
  • Associate degree and 10 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the biotech/pharma or health care space including material review process
  • 2+ years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring non-personal marketing campaigns for specialty products
  • Experience effectively partnering with and managing external agencies and vendors
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Collaborative teammate with an ability to motivate and influence others
  • Strong communicator
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong organizational skills

The annual salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $140,752 - $171,525.
