About the role:

Engage, influence and lead operational innovation in strategic Trusted Data Engineering & Integrity programs and capabilities. Lead the Data Security and Access platform implementation and operations. Join Takeda as an "Operations Lead, Data Security, Access & Privacy" where you will curate and lead an ecosystem of collaborators and partners, both internally and externally, to develop and deliver innovative Trusted Data Engineering & Integrity related programs/technologies/platforms, establish trusted partnerships, global processes, and strategic value delivery to Takeda. You will also partner with stakeholders and leaders within Takeda to influence, educate, develop and implement functional area solution roadmaps. You will report to Head of Trusted Data Engineering & Integrity, and part of the Cyber & Digital Trust and work with key stakeholders across Takeda.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop, create and lead innovative and strategic platforms and solutions to strengthen the Takeda Data Classification and Data Security and Access practice, to consistently reduce our operational risk.

  • Lead, influence and deliver strategic programs on time, budget and quality through internal and external partners in an effective and collaborative way.

  • Develop and lead an ecosystem of partners across the GDDT (Global Data, Digital and Technology) by building strong relationships with innovative external companies/vendors, senior Takeda leaders (across the value chain), and the Takeda ICC (Innovation Capability Center).

  • Hire, lead and develop a team of senior experts and managers with their career paths and learning goals

  • Lead and promote learnings/insights & technology expertise within the team to create the Data lifecycle practice

  • Oversee the team's business analysis, recommendations and project plans as needed.

  • Create a value realization plan and track progress against KPIs and metrics that define the ROI or success criteria for digital ecosystem investments.

  • Own escalation of incidents or process-related issues through agreed channels to avoid negative business impact.

  • Drive collaboration with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with enterprise standards and ensure governance processes are respected.

  • Lead and develop opportunities to streamline and simplify the systems landscape through platform adoption, system rationalization, effective data management, etc.

  • Lead the delivery of cost efficiencies, synergies and optimize the use of corporate resources.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, Business or related subject matter, and an Advanced Degree in Business Administration, or Relevant IT or Science Degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with Pharma Ethics & Compliance domain would be a great plus

Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in Global Technology functions and Business English environment

  • 7+ years of Identity and Access Management work experience, in-depth experience in Pharmaceutical or other heavily regulated industry
