Job Details
The regional Senior Manager Learning Center of Excellence is responsible for serving as a single point of contact between the assigned region and the Learning Center of Excellence (LCoE) team, offering support in the design, delivery and facilitation of training customized for their region.
As a Senior Manager Learning Center of Excellence, a typical day might include the following:
- Support Training Business Partners and Learning Designers in LCoE by providing input on how design of training materials may need to be adapted at the local level (appropriate use of materials, ensuring materials are culturally adapted for audience, translation support, etc.).
- In partnership with SMEs, facilitate face-to-face and remote training sessions including system, business process and functional onboarding training for region. Initiates cross-functional management review, as needed for agreement of major process changes, and change management activities.
- Participates in Regional Events (All Hands meetings, Kick off meetings and regional meetings). Build connections and cultivate a community of SMEs who can be advocates for training within assigned Region.
- Promote training events to improve stakeholder engagement.
- Support Training Business Partners with language translation of training requests/stakeholder meetings from the business (as needed).
- When Training Business Partners are not available in space or time, act as a single point of contact, representing the Learning Center of Excellence fielding questions and requests.
- Support LCoE Onboarding Team by serving as primary point of contact for onboarding for assigned region. Collaborate with Learning Center of Excellence Onboarding team to tailor any onboarding materials that need to be adapted at the local level.
- Assign new hires buddies to support transition to new roles.
- Be available during core office hours to answer any new hires questions.
- Serve as SME for LCoE in understanding regional compliance and regulatory environment for various locations. Provide guidance on any legal and compliance approvals required to deliver training materials and gain consensus so these constraints can be factored into production timelines.
- Ensure all internal training materials are compliant and approved for use for respective region.
- Serve as LMS admin for registration/attendance reports, etc for local training sessions.
- Liase with Training Business Partners on training schedules and raise risks where conflicts with holidays/significant events may arise with upcoming planned training.
- Coordinate internal presenters, guest trainers, and vendors for trainings. Create/adapt training communications notifying participants of training requirements, reminders and follow-up information.
This role might be for you if:
- Bachelors degree including 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical training experience. An advance degree, preferred.
- English speaking and fluent in language of assigned region.
- 25% travel is required.
- Strong platform/facilitation skills. Excellent collaboration, presentation, and communication skills (both written and oral) required
- A successful track record of working collaboratively, timely planning and execution of key initiatives, and project coordination.
- The ability to work effectively with in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated experience in creating training plans, curricula, and material in various modalities.
