Job Description

Job Title: SC System and Master Data Manager, Oncology

Location: Lexington, MA

About the role:

The position will cover all SC systems and master data topics related to Oncology products globally, mainly working with US (Lexington, Cambridge) and EU (Singen and Linz) based team

  • Key user of Takeda using SAP systems (ECC, APO, AIP, OEP, IBP) including SAST Requestor/Approver
  • SAP/MDG coordinator, key user and Data Steward role
  • Ariba SCC key user including onboarding support for new vendors
  • Training of employees, new on boarders and apprentices
  • Create, update and maintain related procedures and step-guides
  • Global/Regional Digital and IT improvement project lead
  • Project manager for supply chain related system implementation & improvement
  • Lead the coordination to solve complex system issues

How you will contribute:

  • Point of contact for trouble shooting activities related to systems managed in the key user scope (ECC, MDG, Ariba SCC etc.)
  • Create & update the training documentation, procedures and step-guides
  • Conduct Onboarding and training of employees, new on boarders, apprentices and student workers
  • Create training evidence certificates for SAP role requests
  • Create SAST requests for Users
  • Lead & Participate UAT testing for system implementation & maintenance
  • Facilitate business and project team for system implementations
  • Support internal stakeholders & new vendors for the Ariba SCC onboarding, including training and testing
  • Lead MDG implementation in the region, including knowledge transfer & best-practice sharing
  • Material Master MDG Data Steward role for Oncology Products
  • Lead Global/Regional Digital IT improvement project
  • Project manager for supply chain related system implementations
  • Key user for IBP S&OP and Supply Planning module

What you bring to Takeda:

Education & Professional experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or IT Management
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management/ Supply Chain IT Management and/or its key functions
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in a multinational organization preferably in implementing supply chain related IT systems
  • Highly experienced in ERP Systems, such as SAP/ECC, APO; Serialization Systems such as AIP, OEP and Tracelink; Master Data Systems such as MDG; Collaborative platforms such as Ariba SCC
  • Very strong understanding of latest trends in pharmaceutical markets, especially related to patient trends to deduct key requirements for Supply Chain strategy and technology/IT solutions
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Write and speak English fluently
  • Basic knowledge of GMP, GDP, and quality systems

Important Considerations:

At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:

  • Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
  • Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
  • Work in a cold, wet environment.
  • Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
  • Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
