Sr Financial Analyst – BTS Enterprise Systems

Purpose Statement:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the financial planning and analysis with respect to Actual, Plan, Update, LBE, LRP and various analyses to support the day-to-day operations and strategic plans for the BTS Operations & Enterprise Systems (OES) organization. 

Major Responsibilities:

• The planning process for portions of OES, including Plan/Update/LRP/LBEs for P&L and headcount. 
• Works directly with Accounting Shared Service on monthly close processes to ensure accurate and timely results.
• Prepare monthly actuals variance analysis and commentary for P&L and headcount. Understands monthly results and communicates risks and opportunities vs. benchmark to manager and budget owners.
• Support the capital process, including RCE preparation and review in accordance with financial policies.
• Meet all financial reporting requirements for the Business Group, BTS HQ and Corporate. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and business policies and procedures.
• Interact with all levels of management in BTS (including BTS VPs), Finance, Outsourcing COE and Accounting COE.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by management or by a functional area.
• Participate on project teams as required.
• Serve as collaborative business partner to the supported areas and help to identify and drive process development and improvements within the organization.

Qualifications:

Basic:    

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• SAP or relatable ERP General Ledger experience.
• SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) experience.
