Job Details

The Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Engineering Services, based at our Norwood, MA campus, this position will be responsible to Engineering Compliance for all GMP and non-GMP operations within the Facilities and Engineering organization. The Sr. Engineer will audit Engineering procedures and practices, report findings, and implement corrective actions as required. The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for managing the Facility and Engineering organizations quality system records to ensure we are compliant with Moderna and Industry requirements.

Heres What Youll Do:

  • Audit Moderna Facility and Engineering Procedures to ensure our procedures align with Moderna policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

  • Perform field audits of Engineering personnel to ensure practices align with Moderna policies and procedures

  • Generate audit reports and action plans for all findings to report out to Engineering leadership team.

  • Project manage Engineering Quality System records to ensure timely closure of Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs and Proactive Initiatives.

  • Provide SME input to Facility and Engineering teams on all Compliance issues

  • Facilitate and participate in cross functional issue resolution and problem solving

  • This role will have the opportunity to assist the Engineering services team with project management opportunities for Engineering projects.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

  • B.S degree (engineering or scientific discipline) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience working with engineering projects or 6 years with MS.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with deviation/investigation management systems or a similar technical writing system in a cGMP environment

  • A comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and their applications in a cGMP environment

  • Experience working with electronic systems and thorough understanding of 21 CFR part 11, 210, and 211 requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and deliver results with minimal supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience interacting with representatives of regulatory agencies

  • Experience with facility, utility, systems, and equipment commissioning and qualification

  • Excellent written and oral English language skills

  • Project management experience
