The Senior Manager, Global Product & Pipeline Communications, will help to drive awareness, understanding and appreciation of Regeneron’s products and pipeline in key markets outside of the U.S. and will require some global travel. There's an initial focus within oncology / hematology and the role may evolve to include multiple therapeutic areas. This position will work closely with other groups within the Communications team to craft, build and operationalize ex-U.S. communications at Regeneron in support of product and pipeline business needs.

A typical day might include:

Working in lockstep with Corporate Communications to shape and establish an operating model for best-in-class, global product and pipeline communications:

  • Help define and synergize roles, responsibilities and ways of working cross-functionally – including among Product & Pipeline Communications, Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Advocacy, Commercial and Medical Affairs.
  • Identify communications obligations and responsibilities in ex-U.S. countries Regeneron operates in and establish processes to ensure we meet them.
  • Develop an expertise on, and guidelines for, best practices and requirements for product and pipeline communications in key ex-U.S. markets.
  • Help plan for future global Product & Pipeline Communications needs, including infrastructure, technology and human resources.

Driving awareness, understanding and appreciation of Regeneron’s oncology/hematology pipeline in key ex-U.S. markets in collaboration with the Oncology/Hematology Communications team:

  • Leading planning and execution for ex-U.S. product and pipeline milestones, including developing press releases and other supporting external and internal communications materials.
  • Creating cross-functional teams to support ex-U.S. product and pipeline communications.
  • Establishing effective working relationships with the local affiliates of our global partners and collaborators.
  • Organizing and executing communications programs to support business needs in key ex-U.S. markets, aligned with Commercial and Global Development KPIs.
  • Supporting the development of product and pipeline content for in-country corporate websites and other digital channels.
  • Ensuring communications compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing global agencies supporting ex-U.S. product and pipeline communications.

Helping establish relationships with news media in key ex-U.S. regions and markets:

  • Develop guidelines for working compliantly with ex-U.S. news media, including opportunities and limitations.
  • Identify ex-U.S. news media who are relevant stakeholders for product and pipeline communications programs, and foster relationships with them.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for ex-U.S. news media, when needed.

This role could be for you if you have:

  • A creative planning/execution approach and experience with media relations, issues management, content creation, social media/digital execution and measurement. Familiarity with patient advocacy and corporate responsibility practices.
  • Global experience, as well as oncology and/or hematology experience – both of which would be looked upon favorably.
  • An ability to work as an independent, self-starter with skills to build partnerships and working collaborations across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Confidence to share new ideas, and an ability to influence partners, inspire agency partners and manage associated resources and budget.
  • An ability to proactively address highly complex problems and quickly recommend sound and viable solutions, often with incomplete information and in a fast-moving and fast-growing organization.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with comfort and proficiency in translating complicated science into meaningful messages for different external audiences.

To be considered for this position you must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant communications experience, including proven expertise in product and/or pipeline communications, ideally with one or more publicly-listed biotech or pharmaceutical companies. Relevant knowledge and experience creating content in integrated digital media formats (intranets, video, mobile, etc.). Experience leading creative PR programming directed towards consumers and healthcare professionals that have measurable impact.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$126,600.00 - $206,600.00
