We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Non-Viral Delivery Technologies group. You will work closely and collaboratively with multiple research groups at Regeneron focused on developing next-generation gene therapy methods. The ideal candidate is motivated and scientifically curious and always pushing the bounds of science to find new, innovative medicines for patients.

As an Associate Scientist, a typical day might include the following:

  • Formulating novel non-viral delivery particles for various research teams throughout Regeneron.

  • Evaluating the efficiency of novel gene delivery formulations following in vivo and ex vivo delivery.

  • Maintaining up-to-date scientific knowledge in the area of gene therapy delivery methods.

  • Contributing to lab upkeep to help maintain an effective and efficient working environment.

  • Communicating experimental results and conclusions during group meetings.

  • Proposing new ideas and contributing to the design and interpretation of various team projects.

  • Collaborating and developing close scientific partnerships with other research groups at Regeneron.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 0-3 years experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, pharmacology, or a related field. Experience with nucleic acid drug development (DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides), nanoparticle formulation, and delivery technologies is highly desired. Hands-on experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, and working with mouse models of diseases are also a plus. #LI-Onsite

Salary Range (annually)

$64,800.00 - $101,400.00
