Job scope: 

The Gene and Cell Therapy (GCT) Product Manager is responsible for the development and execution of GenScript’s GCT product   roadmap. Product Managers (PM) lead a cross-functional role for existing and new products. PMs are involved with all product management aspects associated with product definition, product development, forecasting, pricing, market introduction, sales tools, sales training and promotion plans. This ideal candidate will have a blend of skills including technical knowledge,   stakeholder management, excellent project management, and strong communication.

Responsibilities:

· Effectively manage full product life cycle of current CGT portfolio

· Conduct market research to understand technology and market trends

· Build product line road map and   business cases to support new product development or product feature enhancement   

· Responsible for the commercializing activities of the CGT product line including conducting internal trainings, establishing pricing strategy, pricing schedules, leading and support key customer account discussions, promotional activities to ensure business   success and continuous growth.   

· Collaborates closely with stakeholders in different functions (Production, R&D, Finance, Legal, etc.) on individual new product development projects. 

· Partners with Product Line Managers, Marketing Specialists, Sales and Business Development Managers to understand and communicate internally the needs of the market and the customer.  

Requirements

· Minimum bachelor degree in relevant life science disciplines, such as biology, protein chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, etc. Master’s degree in relevant life science disciplines or business is preferred

· A minimum of 2-year experience in cell and gene therapy in biotechnology industry, preferable 5 years 

· Experience in management of products used in highly regulated environments 

· Solid understanding of product life cycle, product line management, market research methodologies, and branding

· Ability to quickly and critically analyze different sources of data and market intelligence to define product requirement   specifications 

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills   

· Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work within a team, as well as, independently 

· Must be customer-centered   and proactive/action-oriented
