This HRIS role, Manager, HR Technology will be responsible for supporting the organization’s Workday recruiting module and partnering with Talent Acquisition stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.  The ideal candidate will ensure fit for purpose business processes by recognizing the needs of business customers, evaluating options, identifying gaps and potential fits, participating in release planning, managing solution delivery, change management and communication with stakeholders.

As a Manager, HR Technology a typical day may include

  • Serve as a system administrator for Workday Recruiting module and the go-to subject matter expert
  • Provide  support to functional owners and end users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex system issues. Researches and minimizes reported problems or pain points within HR platforms, drives resolution of issues, analyzes security issues and recommends corrective and proactive action.
  • Partner with internal team members to develop long-term scalable solutions that help improve HR processes and streamline user experience. Build consensus around business processes, business rules, workflows and design. Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written requirements. 
  • Partner with vendors on their software and cloud roadmaps, upgrades, restoration of service or resolution of problems.
  • Create and maintain documentation on Business Processes, configuration, and other materials.
  • Implement testing to meet business requirements - perform functional system testing, and handle User Acceptance testing securing sign-off.
  • Deliver training and create training materials as needed

This role may be for you if you:

  • Drive ongoing improvements to the Workday platform and stay abreast of new improvements to the system modules
  • Drive solution delivery in conjunction with the Managed Service Provider and internal IT team.
  • Ensure integrity and organizational alignment of data structures.  Write and analyze reports, review system audit reports and make recommendations on process or technical change.
  • Participate actively in the Workday Community and serve as a Workday advocate within the organization
  • Possess superb communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to influence colleagues (within HR and cross-functionally)
  • Have phenomenal Customer Service skills, project a positive attitude, and display professionally mature behavior in meaningful situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes
  • Ability to work interdependent or as part of a team and to manage work performed by an outsourced vendor both on and offshore
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with internal & external partners
  • Follow Change Management Processes

To be considered for this role you must possess a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, computer sciences, or related fields with 5+ years of advanced experience in Workday Recruitment / Talent modules. Strong knowledge and experience with HRIS systems, project management skills and a track record of holding yourself and others accountable to meet deadlines and achieve business goals. ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience preferred with Workday Pro Recruiting (strongly preferred)

Salary Range (annually)

$102,600.00 - $167,400.00
