Job Details
The Role:
The primary responsibility of this new role will be to support Technical Developments inventory. The incumbent will be responsible for handling and storing of final product and stability samples. Additional responsibilities include reformatting and shipment of samples and material to internal and external customers.In addition to routine responsibilities, the role will support testing, documentation, and implementation of new processes to improve current workflows. The incumbent will be expected to support training and troubleshooting routine work of entry level team members.
Heres What Youll Do:
Receive materials for reformatting to meet customer expectations
Store materials using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Pack and ship materials to internal or external customers
Cycle count inventory regularly, discard expired material
Operate and maintain state of the art laboratory equipment including automated liquid handlers and sample stores according to documented procedures
Work with the Automation Engineering team on coordinating preventative maintenance, calibrations, and work requests for equipment.
Identify areas of opportunity with manager
Support the establishment of a new functional area in Technical Development by articulating current, manual processes and actively participating in testing, documentation, and implementation of new, automated processes.
Lead entry level team members through onboarding, training, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal teams to adopt multiple manual tasks into a single automated workflow.
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:
A BS with 2-5 years of relevant experience in inventory management or laboratory setting, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Experience in GDP/GLP and 5S Laboratories
Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Inventory Management software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Communication skills to quickly identify and resolve issues within the team
