Undergrad Intern - PV Operations Case Management (Remote)

Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this program, you will learn the fast-paced, patient-facing world of Case Management in Pharmacovigilance Operations. You will be part of a team of dedicated Global Patient Safety staff who put patients at the core of everything we do.

PV Operations (Case Management) responsibilities:
  • Support vendor oversight of all case intake and processing activities

  • Manage case-level quality issues through quality control and retrospective data reviews

  • Support interactions with business partners (license partners) for all case processing activities

  • Support controlled documentation review and revision for Case Management

  • Support US Individual Case Safety Report submissions and follow-up activities

  • Support convention-related training delivery with internal staff and vendors

  • Undertake activities delegated by the QPPV as detailed in the Pharmacovigilance (PV) System Master File and maintain a state of inspection readiness

  • Performs other duties related to the position as necessary as defined in Standard Operating Procedures or as requested by their supervisor

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

  • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

  • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

  • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship

Preferred Qualifications
  • Life science degree focus (i.e. pharmacy, nursing, dietetics, or biomedical engineering)
