Postdoctoral fellow

We are seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to join the research lab in the Department of Neurological Science at Stanford University School of Medicine.

The successful candidates will work independently and with other team members on projects elucidating disease mechanisms using interdisciplinary approaches.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Essential duties will be to independently and collaboratively design and conduct research projects. Specific duties may include but are not limited to: genetic or bioinformatic analyses of disease mechanisms; protein-protein interaction studies; and manuscript preparation in cooperation with the P.I.  The successful candidate may also share responsibilities on training other laboratory personnel or students, as needed.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  
The minimal qualifications are a Ph.D. in biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, biological computations, data sciences or a closely related field. In addition, excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with three strongly supportive letters of recommendation.  Extensive working laboratory experience is required.  Background on data sciences or chemistry is highly desired

Postdoctoral salary is in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 depending on prior research experience and qualifications.
