Executive Director, Global Meetings & Conventions

The Executive Director, Global Meetings and Conventions, will lead all aspects of all meetings and conventions for Regeneron’s Commercial and Medical Affairs operations. This strategic role, reporting into the Vice President Commercial Operations, will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the Regeneron team and its programs, as well as leading all aspects of management of an outsourced vendor to help with meeting management services. You will provide mentorship to team members as they assess different options for each event and make recommendations to senior leadership as needed.

As the Executive Director, Global Meetings and Conventions a typical day might include the following:

• Providing leadership, development and coaching to internal and outsourced teams.
• Encouraging an innovative team culture, passionate about delivering results at the forefront of the biopharmaceutical industry. This will include acting as a strategic counsellor inside and outside the GM&C team on what “outstanding” looks like.
• Being responsible for the execution of all Global convention-related activities to ensure Regeneron and its brands are appropriately represented including: incentive trips, training classes (on site and off site), Brand Plan of Action (POA) meetings, Fast Start meetings, Launch meetings, National Field Meetings and National Field Leadership meetings.
• Management of the outsourcing partner, including contracting, sourcing of employees, meeting and congress planning and meeting reconciliation.

To be considered for this opportunity you must bring 15+ years of shown experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in Commercial roles with growing responsibilities. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical / HCP compliance landscape will be essential for success. Experience leading a Meetings and Conventions team in a complex, global environment. Knowledge of Meeting Management software Cvent is a must, Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification is helpful.

Salary Range (annually)

$218,900.00 - $364,800.00
