HYBRID Work Arrangement - This role is considered a hybrid position that is within a commutable driving distance to the Summit, New Jersey office to work onsite 1-2 days per week and attend occasional in person meetings / events as required.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will work as part of the U.S. Market Access & Revenue Management team and will be tasked with supporting all aspects of Seqirus portfolio coverage and differentiated reimbursement across all Health Plans, PBM’s, Medicare, Medicaid and Federal Payer accounts. Including playing a critical role in educating customers and payers about our compelling RWE / HEOR studies. Your contribution to the business provides key inputs into reimbursement strategy and the long-term goals of the organization.
The Role
Enact key strategic initiatives to help facilitate Seqirus to achieve / exceed specific sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
Works with Seqirus Director of Access of Reimbursement supporting all interactions with all payers. Fosters and develops multi-level and senior relationships to create a foundation for developing a pathway to effectively communicate Seqirus story of a differentiated product.
Analyses payer access and reimbursement (medical & drug) landscape for near-term and future objectives. Provide insights on the analysis to create change in the organization.
With relationship depth and breadth of customer interaction at various (senior management clinical / financial / operational) levels of the customer’s organization, builds and maintains relationships with key individuals to enable market access of Seqirus vaccines, developing a favourable environment for pull-through at the national, regional, and local provider levels.
Provides key business insights into new areas of opportunity for Seqirus, what barriers may exist from and access and reimbursement standpoint and how to address.
Supports the organization as a resource in regards to reimbursement at national and regional level and ensures Seqirus products have market access at all National and select Regional health plans and PBMs. Helps execute on effective access & reimbursement strategies when there are coverage issues by being able to connect with key payer decision makers immediately, to fix issues.
Works with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Seqirus position in the market
Promotes Seqirus portfolio of products to key customers that drives differentiation for Seqirus and successful long-term business relationships by using marketing materials and RWE / FDAMA studies.
Collaborates with appropriate Seqirus business teams, marketing, and medical affairs to ensure alignment and full utilization of resources at account level. This includes utilization of marketing materials, execution of in-services, development and execution of marketing or other service agreements.
Uses available resources to improve regional account management (RAM, RSM, VSS) and liaises with Marketing teams to develop pull-through plans and value-added service offerings.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline
7+ years' pharmaceutical industry experience in reimbursement or case management
Strong understanding of relevant market reimbursement policy
Work experience with patient advocacy groups regarding coverage policies
A proven track record of successful account management and executing national strategies.
Experience in billing/coding for a Medical benefit.
