IT Applications Manager (Manufacturing)

We are currently looking to fill an IT Applications Manager (Manufacturing) position. This position will lead a team of IT professionals to Secure, Grow, and Transform a suite of IT Applications that support the critically important manufacturing process.   Responsible for managing the Manufacturing Application Portfolio, delivering technology support to personnel on the shop floor and providing leadership and guidance to the associated support staff. Responsible for driving the development and execution of the strategic vision for applications in collaboration with key IOPS partners.

  

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

• Works closely with a cross-functional team to ensure a highly available technology environment to support 24x7x365 process manufacturing
• Provides high quality support to the System Owner and end-users. This includes, user management, incident response, training and managing change requests.
• Manages a team of FTE’s and Contractors in order to meet end user requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of  system documentation, including, User Requirement Specifications, Detail Design Specification, Configuration Specifications,  Test Plans, and Summary Reports.
• Works with the Validation Department to ensure that applications are implemented and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and IOPS SOPs.
• Works with System Owners to prioritize change control requests, releases and enhancements and ensures their timely completion.
• Develops, implements and drives operational rigor and discipline using metrics and other operational controls as needed
• Presents status of System Operations and Project Status to executive partners and ensures alignment of resources to key priorities
• Develops continuous improvement ideas that improve team performance and efficiencies
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Contributes to strategic vision and direction of the IOPS IT Applications and helps to manage the delivery of the stategic objectives.

• Manages Global Applications support staff
• Mentors, coaches and develops staff
• Ensures staff compliance with regulatory, corporate, and IOPS policies and procedures
• Works with staff in the development of annual goals
• Performs monthly staff performance reviews and develops annual performance evaluation of staff

To be considered for this role you must hold: BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and 7+ years of proven experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range (annually)

$96,400.00 - $157,400.00
