We are currently searching for Program Management Support Services to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the HEAL Initiative’s Data Ecosystem in the Immediate office of the Director. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of program management support services. This opportunity is full-time, and it is on site in Bethesda, MD.  

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, in coordination with HDE staff, a process for accessing and tracking data management and sharing plans submitted by HEAL PIs.
  • Develop, in coordination with HDE staff, a process for accessing and tracking progress and participation by HEAL PIs in other data sharing-related activities.
  • Coordinate, track and complete action items and report progress to project owners.
  • Participate in meetings and working groups led by HDE and its awardees in areas related to data management and sharing. Attend relevant trans-NIH data science workshops, webinars, and events.
  • Develop draft materials and documents that can be used to convey HEAL data management and sharing activities to internal and external audiences including, for example, briefing materials for external engagements by HDE staff; and material for the HDE website.
  • Prepare progress reports, summaries, descriptions, and other materials to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation library using designated applications and tools.
  • Present project updates and status reports at recurrent staff and management meetings.
  • Develop and assist with the execution of plans for overseeing HEAL-funded projects related to data sharing, including assisting with the HEAL planning and processes; gathering and developing materials needed for decisions; tracking internal milestones and budgets; and suggesting solutions to any issues that arise.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration or Medical Administration
  • At least 3 three years of experience
  • Preferred, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Develop, in coordination with HDE staff, a process for accessing and tracking data management and sharing plans submitted by HEAL PIs.
  • Perform administrative management support for HDE activities, including preparing meeting minutes and agendas, suggesting speakers, and working with others in HDE to ensure sufficient logistic support.
