JOB SUMMARY

 

  • Emergent BioSolutions is seeking a Manager-Marketing Operations.
  • This is a highly visible role, working closely with the Marketing, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review teams.
  • This role is responsible for executing the promotional review process and production and fulfillment for assigned Brand teams within the organization.
  • This is a key role within the Enterprise Commercial Operations organization.
  • This is a remote/virtual role. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Manage and execute the US/Global Promotional Review system and process, ensuring all tactical plans are implemented in compliance with the promotional guidelines, and holding all participants accountable by reinforcing the process
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective and efficient weekly Promotional Review Committee (PRC) meetings, managing the needs of cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with Marketing, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to gather input and feedback on processes; recommend improvements, propose changes, champion implementation; and analyze effectiveness
  • Deliver training with internal and external PRC participants and serve as a “go to resource” for PRC needs and Veeva PromoMats usage
  • Forecast demand for PRC review and approval of materials for assigned brands
  • Drive prioritization of brand initiatives/materials through PRC based on understanding of business priorities, needs, volume, and complexity of materials
  • Create and maintain Veeva PromoMats system educational and support materials
  • Design, establish, and maintain critical business metrics related to promotional materials to enable data-driven decisions across enterprise teams
  • Manage enterprise production & fulfillment capability in collaboration with Marketing brand teams
  • Support on-going enterprise production and fulfillment support needs including new team implementations, change management, new staff training, user guide updates, portal changes and vendor relationship
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as required

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 or more years related experience or High School diploma and 7 plus years of related general business experience
  • Experience working with advertising and promotional review process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

 

Preferred:

 

  • Veeva PromoMats system experience
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Prior experience with Veeva PromoMats/Veeva Vault
  • Experience with training and education on process and systems
  • 3-5 years pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience

 

Skills:

 

  • Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals
  • Solid process, project management and facilitation skills supporting cross-functional teams at varying levels
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in order to interact with, focus, resolve conflict, and drive consensus amongst cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work with urgency and prioritize across multiple tasks required
  • Self-starter and independent performer
  • Demonstrates understanding and experience with implementing and ensuring compliance to procedural requirements for government reporting – Sunshine Act for Healthcare professionals
  • Makes complex decisions involving multiple constituencies using fact-based analysis
  • Prioritizes based on agreed business needs and related budgets
  • Quickly assess critical situations and identify issue resolution
  • Define processes and guidelines that can be applied across all enterprise teams
