Dr. Wenjun Ouyang's lab is looking for a highly motived and accomplished Ph.D. scientist to join the group as a postdoc to study T cell function, regulation, subset and differentiation in autoimmune diseases and cancer immunotherapy. We are interested in understanding how TCR and antigen specificity dictate the outcomes in cancer and autoimmune models. The project will be involved in identification of antigen specificity of different T cell subsets including Treg, CD4 and CD8 effector and memory subsets base on scRNAseq. We will also use in vitro CRISPR screens and various KO/KI mouse lines to dissect the factors that drive the differentiation and development of these antigen specific T cells in disease and cancer models and understand how different T cell subsets impact the pathogenesis and therapeutic outcomes.

- The candidate should be able to independently design and execute experiments, interpret and present the experimental results, and resolve various challenges with new ideas and technologies.
- Prior research experience in T cell biology, CRISPR screening, or in vivo disease models is preferred.
