Guidehouse is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to support the DHA. The PMTM Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, identifying, improving, and implementing desktop and IT solutions support for DHA DAD IO/J-6 and their respective Branches.

 

The candidate will provide desktop support to users to include UiPath installs, preparing computers for shipment, laptops for Microsoft Team, software and hardware installations, network drive mapping, and general troubleshooting and support.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
  • Answers questions, analyzes problems and provides technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems through phone, email, or chat.
  • Resolves computer software and hardware problems of users.
  • Acts as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Acts as the escalation path to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Specialized in certain aspects of technologies to assist the customer base.

 

 

Requirements

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Tier 3 (T3) Security Clearance
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment
  • Ability to managing deadlines and recurring deliverables

 

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the DoD; Military Health System experience a plus
  • Experience with leading small teams, coaching and collaborating with colleagues, providing feedback and guidance on work performance
  • IAT II and CE certifcations preferred
  • Ability to obtain IT Security Designation: ADP/IT-II
  • Security + Certification
