Job Details

We are looking for a Sr Sourcing Administrator - COE to be responsible for driving system adoption, change management, best practices, and project management for Strategic Sourcing and our procurement technology environment. The ideal candidate must be able to partner with Sourcing team members, technology support teams, and business partners to document, train, streamline, and improve the overall procurement systems environment and build successful business processes. Knowledge and experience working with P2P, Supplier Portals, eRFX Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Contract Management systems including associated analytics and metrics development. Lead the development and implementation of various reports and enhancements to support sourcing category needs, including but not limited to invoices on-hold, e-catalog utilization, savings reports, etc. Assists other administrators with contract management, RFX, Oracle system maintenance, metrics reporting and training as required.

A typical day might include:
  • Relationships - demonstrates strong relationship leadership skills and ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers. Ability to identify key parties, their capabilities, and contributions to problem solving. Responds quickly to issues. Acts as a frontline contact to users, reviews & troubleshoot usage issues. If needed, knows how to drive the solution with the appropriate database & system administration resources.

  • Strategy - an advanced understanding of Sourcing and Procurement Systems & Methodology and understands key processes, software, and tools and able to apply them in alignment with departmental strategy. Able to create new strategies and relationships across business and category leads to achieve sourcing objectives. Works on moderately complex procurement systems solutions. Considers relative value of several alternative solutions to meet potential issues before confirming a final decision as to the path forward.

  • Analysis – identify key facts from data to build relevant models linking key drivers together. Able to articulate basic trends and construct strong presentation in support of gaining alignment to the strategy.

  • Financial Analysis – basic understanding of accounting techniques and financial parameters used in business. Able to interpret key trends from supplier financials and articulate associated risk. Ability to work closely with accounting and finance teams on joint projects and initiatives.

  • Project Management – can use project management methodology and plan tasks with milestones, timelines, deliverables and resources. Manages individual deliverables with little guidance and coordinates with others as necessary to deliver own work on time.

  • Problem solving – able to solve the majority of problems within your own area of expertise and demonstrate some flexibility of approach in doing so.

This role may be for you if you have:
  • High level of comfort and experience with business systems management and administration such as P2P, e-Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, or related systems.

  • Strong computer skills particularly in system administration and office productivity software such as Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and other related tools and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Engineering OR Masters with 4 years of related work experience as well as 4-6 years of strong work experience within (CPG/Life Science/IT/Finance/Sourcing/Supply Chain preferred).

Salary Range (annually)

$68,900.00 - $110,100.00
