Summary

The Associate Director, Global R&D Communications, Change and Enablement supports effective communications for prioritized projects across global R&D. Primary focuses include but are not limited to: globalization of R&D organization (Project Ocean), implementation of new governance and team structures, new ways of working, and enhancement of our capabilities. This role will work in close partnership with the change management partners, supporting the development and execution of strategic change communication plans. The strategic change communications plan includes vision, strategic imperatives, expectations of leaders and all R&D employees, supported by a roadmap with tactics and timelines. The Associate Director contributes to developing these plans and most importantly resonating messages to all R&D employees and beyond with excellent verbal and written communication expertise. The successful candidate also has strong skills in managing across multiple stakeholders and the ability to partner across communications to ensure all change communications from various teams are streamlined.

Responsibilities

- Change Communications Provide change communications subject matter expertise to the change management partners in developing strategic change communications plan. Create communications tactics and resonating messages to all RD employees and beyond, including presentation materials and talking points for internal/external meetings, written communications, video messages, etc. Execute change communications plan, measure/monitor/assess its effectiveness and revise the plan as needed for continued improvements.
- Coordination with other internal communications Partner across stakeholders to Integrate and air traffic control all communications from initiatives across RD. Ensure all change communications are streamlined, integrated and work effectively aligned with overall RD strategy.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)


- Bachelor's Degree in science, business or liberal arts required
- Advanced Degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

- 10 or More Years 10+ years relevant change management and communications experience, demonstrating subject matter expertise of change communications and a winning track record of successful outcomes of strategic initiatives. required
- Prior work experience as a top tier management consultant, communications specialist or similar role in pharmaceutical drug development desirable. Change management qualification, certification or diploma is highly desired. preferred
