Position Summary

The position Facility Security duties will include: Actively monitoring surroundings to keep employees and facility safe. Keep calm in stressful situations and when communicating with difficult individuals.

Essential Functions

• Ensure employees’ and visitors’ screen questionnaire survey & Question daily.
• Assist employees and visitors with safety and health requirements related to Covid-19.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and assist others with PPE and other safety measures.
• Acquire knowledge and stay up to date on the best practices for slowing the spread of Covid-19.
• Temperature screen and wristbands.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Monitor Security cameras and make sure they are working properly
• Keep Supervisor informed on any unusual events or happenings.
• Observe and Report
• Handle Shipping and Receiving & mail organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some related work experience preferred.
• 0-2 years ofexperienceas Facility Security or equivalent
• First Aid Certified
• CPR Certified

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to follow established procedures as required
• Vendor Management: Escort and Direct Vendors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have great Leadership and Safety Compliance Techniques
• Multi-tasking and Detail Oriented.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and take on additional assignments as needed.
• Ensure personal training requirements are met and that training records are current.

Working Environment / Physical Environment

• Required to regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Required to sit at a desk and computer terminal
• Performs some light lifting; there will be no unassisted lifting in excess of 50 pounds
