Job Description

Summary/Objective:

Associate Director - FP&A role will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and strategy of the company. This role will be providing financial leadership, insights, planning and analysis to senior leaders of the organization to support the business.

Essential Functions:

  • Consolidate and support all planning and reporting processes, including forecasts, annual budgets, and a multi-year planning
  • Interact and communicate with senior leadership regarding risks & opportunities, and drivers of forecast/budget variances
  • Provide key business results which facilitate timely and informed decision-making 
  • Partner with the company’s leaders in defining, assessing, and communicating business performance, trends, and strategic trade-offs 
  • Own the budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual reporting system 
  • Collaborate with accounting and the business during the monthly close process to ensure accuracy of financials and provide detailed variance analyses 
  • Support quarterly financial reporting in conjunction with board and investor requirements 
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Structure, build, and maintain financial and decision-making models to support business decisions and make actionable recommendations 
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve processes, systems, and automation to help scale the business

  • At least 10% travel to corporate office and conferences

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, Life Science industry a plus.
  • Oracle in the Cloud or equivalent EPM system experience.
