Summary

You are a business-oriented learning consultant with extensive global experience in learning, global business consulting, learning design and facilitation. In this role you will drive value through strategic learning and development interventions enabling measurable impact on business results. You will lead the implementation for adaption of learning redesign for RDEx to focus on the scientific and technical capability development of all associates and the development and implementation of the RDEx University.

Responsibilities

- Drive and oversee the development of RD Scientific and Technical Learning Journeys, from strategy to execution, that will contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives.
- Partner with RD business leaders globally to conduct effective Scientific and Technical learning diagnosis of business and learner needs and translate needs into an actionable development strategy and learning plans.
- Identify clear measures of learning outcomes for specific Scientific and Technical learning interventions and learning key performance indicators for RD. Builds insightful reports and analyses for leadership that demonstrates return on investment for learning activities.
- Evaluate existing Scientific and Technical programs for impact and alignment with organizational needs. Provide recommendations for Scientific and Technical learning experiences that increase reach, impact, and future capability requirements.
- Stay ahead of current trends in Scientific and Technical learning and development practices, to keep technical learning current, fresh and engaging for the modern employee. Bring innovative approaches to functional learning activities and recommendations for RD development globally.
- Support the design and implementation of RDEx University.
- Develop and support deployment of a learning architecture that includes an array of services and solutions, dedicated to developing individuals and the organization, to achieve business results.
- Ensure the alignment between the learning offer and the business demand: impact on business performance.
- Align and support Japan Learning Partners to synchronize curriculum with global programs.
- Define and institute Certification Rewards strategy aligned with learning journey development.
- Partner with HR/QA to ensure other learning content is “fit for purpose” and coordinated to avoid overload and fatigue with RD employees.
- Apply project management principles and tools to document, articulate and deliver training support including definition/scope, identification of key stakeholders, training deliverables, progress reporting, risks/roadblocks, and success measures.
- Liaison for global/regional RD
- learning initiatives in Japan and EU.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)


- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

- 10 or More Years Minimum 10 years experience working in training/learning role required
- Prior R&D Pharma Scientific and Technical L&D experience required. required
- Deep knowledge about current developments in the Scientific and Technical L&D space, methods, and tools. required
- Demonstrated experience of working in a global environment and managing a complex stakeholder network. required
- Demonstrated experience of leading Scientific and Technical L&D programs required
- Application of innovative ideas and knowledge of current and emerging Scientific and Technical learning technology trends and experiences to your projects. required
- Consulting skills to achieve results and deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations. required
- Experience Initiating and leading open conversations with teams, and stakeholders and enjoy working with people from different geographies and backgrounds. required
- Ability to set priorities, deliver on deadlines, and develop workflow processes and tasks in an evolving, dynamic marketplace. required
- Possess an analytical and strong business perspective in providing learning advisory services. required
- Results-oriented with a strong emphasis on collaboration and a positive attitude. preferred
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation); ability to be a thought partner/coach. required
- Knowledge and use of change management models. preferred
- Knowledge and use of learning assessment, metrics, and measurement tools. preferred
