When you work as an Analyst II in the Cell and Gene Therapies (CGT) lab at KCAS, you get to further our mission by working under senior CGT scientists to contribute to the success of our clients.  The CGT lab team uses a full range of Flow Cytometry services and viral vector capabilities to analyze gene replacement, gene addition, gene inhibition, gene editing, and cell therapy or transplantation. You’ll get to be directly responsible for:

  • Processing, preparing, analyzing, and verifying samples, laboratory solutions, reagents, method development, and reports
  • Preparing study records and data summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates and for archiving
  • Independently creating basic experiment plans and setting up instrument configurations

You’ll do all this in graduated sterile labs, as part of our new state-of-the-art building constructed explicitly for our purposes. You’ll have the opportunity to rapidly advance your career and learn under the mentorship of senior scientists and other leaders while using the latest technology and having the benefit of a casual work environment.

To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:

  • BS/BA degree in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Protein Science, or other life science field
  • Advanced Flow Cytometry experience
  • Some exposure to, or prior experience with, bio-assay, including ELISA and Western Blot
  • Coachable and curious, with strong desire to learn and grow in Cell and Gene Therapies
  • Detail-oriented and commitment to quality, safety, accuracy, and reliability
  • Ability to prioritize while working across multiple projects

Depending on your background and qualifications, we may consider hiring you for one of two levels of Analyst roles at KCAS.  This will be determined during the interview process.
