Role:- Support Lab Operations Manager effective day-to-day operations of Nucleic Acid process and analytical development lab spaces.
- Maintain lab operation systems to support lab supply chain operations, that is ordering with PO reconciliation, inventory management, restocking, and shipping to/from the development laboratories.
- Acting as the point of contact coordinator for lab operations within Nucleic Acids, and cross-functionally within the company.
- Represent Nucleic Acids as safety liaison to site.
- Influence standard practices, procedures, and principles to operate a safe and effective lab
- Help integrate, coordinate, and leverage RESILIENCE digital solutions to drive operational efficiency in all aspects of lab operations.
- Versatile participant in dynamic team environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Lab Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day activities and organization within the laboratory, including effective equipment, inventory, and supply chain management.
- Collaborate to support multi-lab areas through ordering, coordinating equipment preventative maintenance, receiving, restocking, glass washing, and autoclaving.
- Act as a secondary resource for a variety of lab relationships,
- Maintain and ensure group compliance with all health safety and environmental policies (HSE) and regulations for the Nucleic Acid Franchise, including routine and yearly safety-training, annual employee Health & Safety inspections, emergency response coordination and tracking inventory in local compliance databases.
- Serve as the alternative contact for all facilities-related issues within the laboratory.
- 1+ years in an industry setting, focusing on process improvement, operational excellence, and/or interdepartmental collaboration.
- Experience as point of contact in process development setting in industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Benchling, Coupa and LabGuru.
- Best-in-class organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed verbal and communication skills.
- Participate in decision making, communication, people and collaboration in a cross- functional and multi-level environment.
- Experience working in service space, particularly CDMO.
- Background in supply chain, and/or inventory management is preferred
