AceInfo, a Guidehouse Company is currently seeking an experienced  QA Tester to work alongside the application team to support USDA/ FS service industry. Candidate should have experience with developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing manual and automated test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies to ensure compliance with software/system requirements.

This position will be remote.

 

 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
  • Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts including test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Participate in, or hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
  • Must have experience with Agile methodology and have worked in scrum teams

 

 

Requirements

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • BS or BA degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on full lifecycle software development projects.
  • Experience testing GIS applications using ArcGIS.
  • Experience using automated test tools, like Selenium, to record and play back test scripts.
  • Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer support.
  • Excellent communication and team skills.

Prefferred qualifications:

  • Section 508 Trusted Tester
  • Experience scripting using automated test tools, like Selenium, to develop more complex test scenarios.
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Experience working in Agile environments a plus

 

U.S. Citizenship, US Permanent Residency or EAD is required for the position.

Compensation

The annaul salary for this position generally ranges between $90,000.00  to $100,000.00. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
