The Company

We are Alloy Therapeutics—a biotechnology ecosystem company empowering the global scientific community to make better medicines together. Through a community of partners, we democratize access to pre-competitive tools, technologies, services, and company creation capabilities that are foundational for discovering and developing therapeutic biologics. The company facilitates affordable, non-exclusive access to the entire drug discovery community from academic scientists, small and medium biotech, to the largest biopharma. At Alloy, we believe our industry should compete on getting the best drugs to patients as quickly as possible, not exclusive access to the best platforms. As a reflection of our relentless commitment to the scientific community, we reinvest 100% of its revenue in innovation and access to innovation. MAY THE BEST DRUG WIN.

Alloy is headquartered in Waltham, MA with additional labs in Cambridge, UK; Basel, CH; San Francisco, CA; and Athens, GA. Successful members thrive in our shared culture of accountability, deliberate trust, and open communication. As a team we aspire to work together to exceed expectations and collectively contribute across the global organization to always maintain our nimble, startup culture. Come thrive at Alloy!

The Team

The Alloy business development team manages all aspects of selling Alloy’s comprehensive offering of platforms and services. The team closely integrates with Alloy scientific teams and the global community of biotech and pharmaceutical companies to empower the global drug discovery community to make better medicines together. This team manages the entire process from partner outreach and engagement, to storytelling and problem solving, to ultimately connecting new partners with the technologies and capabilities they need to solve their problems. They are looking for capacity and expertise to own this marketing at the top of the funnel to reach a larger audience of qualified partners and fuel the sales teams’ pipeline with new, relevant leads.

The Role

In leading this B2B product marketing function, you will own all aspects of the marketing of the scientific platforms and services Alloy offers to current and potential partners.  Upstream, you will use market data and analytics to understand what the market wants and how Alloy’s offerings meet those needs. Downstream, you will position Alloy’s products in the market such that they will stand apart from competitors, developing targeted business growth, segmentation, and marketing strategy.  You will work closely with Business Devlopment to glean ‘voice of the customer’ and anticipate future customer needs. You will design Alloy’s product marketing strategy and facilitate execution of this strategy. This role requires an ability to communicate the complexity of Alloy’s discovery and platform offerings into clear, digestible, compelling materials that set us above the competition portfolio management, with high-growth technology organizations.

This role will report to the Chief Business Officer with autonomy owning various stakeholders, projects, and tasks in a dynamic start-up environment while keeping up the pace of Alloy. This is you!

  • Partner: closely with business development and R&D to guide decisions on the development of the product roadmap, using market data and analysis to ensure the success of eventual product launches.
  • Drive: the entire downstream process of launching Alloy’ products, including print and digital marketing campaigns, social media coordination and materials creation, from ideation, scientific input, data packaging, slide creation, and executive review and approval
