Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract, Hybrid)

Inflammatix is a venture-backed diagnostics company bringing the power of precision medicine to the point-of-care. We are building novel diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive tests that combine rapid detection of human immune gene expression (mRNA) panels with advanced machine learning. These tests will be performed on our rapid point-of-care instrument currently under development.

The Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract, Hybrid) is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable functions and assisting with compliance of office procedures. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manger and will be an instrumental member of the Finance team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process expense and inventory invoices
• Select and prepare invoices for payment
• Research price and quantity discrepancies
• Reconcile AP accounts
• Responsible for weekly payment run
• Train employees on use of the purchase requisition and expense report system
• Process employee expense reports
• Support Audits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience 
• Experience with complex three-way match invoice processing
• Recent experience with ERP
• Understanding of US GAAP base concepts (preferred)
• Experience with and good skills in using Excel software program
• Knowledge of US compliance requirements: 1099, W9, W8-BEN etc. (preferred)
• Experience with paperless invoice and payment processing (preferred)

COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION:

• Classification: Contract; 40 hrs/week
• Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
• Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
