The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Financial Compliance will support both the financial analysis and the systems involving Healthcare Providers (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) across the US Financial Compliance Team (FCT) to ensure data is accurate and compliant with AbbVie’s OPPFs and financial policies and procedures.  This US Commercial role comes with exposure to cross functional teams including OEC, BTS, CA&O, BSG, and Legal.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor cross-functional HCP/HCO stakeholder data submissions analyzing the data and identifying patterns, trends, and data irregularities by utilizing the new MedPro MCR reporting tool.
  • Work in the MedPro MCR reporting tool to address cross-functional partners questions and data issues.  Investigate and resolve customer expense errors weekly. 
  • Utilize Data3Sixty and PowerBI analytics tool to produce reports, queries, and data analytics internally and for external stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings preparing for the Allergan US Commercial Wave 12 integration.  Assist with managing timelines to help ensure project milestones are met on time. 
  • Lead development of iSight Case Management system enhancements to support business needs.  Define requirements by working with system users.
  • Work in the Rapidzone system to complete master data enrichment and error corrections for HCP data.   Work with BTS for any system enhancement needs.
  • Lead other system enhancement projects as assigned.
  • Work closely with the Transparency Reporting team to make sure HCP and HCO transactions are being reported correctly for CMS yearly reports.
  • Support project requests for data as it relates to HCP/HCO federal and state reporting.
  • Support users who open tickets related to the FCT systems (iSight, Statespend Datamart, MARS and Rapidzone).

 

  • 3+ years of financial experience demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.  Attention to detail, independent and pro-active thought, and decision-making skills are necessary. 
  • Position requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in systems, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong systems skillset is preferred such as Excel, Oracle, and PowerBI.
