Salesforce Analyst (US Remote)

This is a unique opportunity to help Amgen build a global Salesforce platform supporting all business functions across the enterprise. This groundbreaking team will help drive our Salesforce strategy and framework to provide enablement, adoption and technical expertise which accelerate Amgen's core business.

The Salesforce Administrator / Analyst role will be US remote based and actively engaged with other remote staff as well as staff at the Tamp and Thousand Oaks locations.
Contribute to the platform vision advising stakeholders on the use of Salesforce technologies
Work in an agile team to mature platform capabilities though backlog grooming, sprint planning and other agile ceremonies
Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on the platform methods and best practices such as: application and integration development methodologies, architecture standards, functional and technical solutions, environment management, testing, and platform education
Solve key implementation issues and demonstrate ability to work towards successful resolution
Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements and provide guidance on solution architecture that aligns with the overall Salesforce Platform strategy
Review releases and roadmaps from Salesforce and evaluate the impacts to current applications, orgs, and solutions
Develop and support platform admin activities including data integrity, user account maintenance, reports & dashboards, and workflows
Negotiate solutions to complex problems with both internal teams and third-party service providers
Build relationships and work with cross-functional teams; contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single role
Communicate and lead platform changes including upstream and downstream impact (from Salesforce) to appropriate partners such as project teams and user groups
Deploy applications into a secure and scalable production environment and help teams understand production landscape, integrations, and release processes

Basic Qualifications:
Masters degreeOR
Bachelors degree and 2 years of administration experience
OrAssociates degree and 6 years of administration experience
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration, including leadership in guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases
An understanding of cloud services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts
Experience managing platform operations and troubleshooting of complex environments
Release management experience in complex environments where a release may touch several environments, enterprise integrations, and rely on declarative as well as programmatic solutions
Demonstrate excellent, context-specific and adaptive communication and presentation skills across a variety of audiences and situations; established habit of proactive thinking and behavior and the desire and ability to self-start/learn and apply new technologies
Experience working as part of a Salesforce implementation project - contributing to the design and build phases
Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud and Sales Cloud experience. Marketing Cloud a plus.
