The Learning Management Systems Specialist will maintain the organization's primary learning management system for compliance, audits and other training initiatives.  The individual will also help to create and organize content in the Fujifilm learning system, create and run reports, occasionally perform and facilitate training, and also assist as a back-up for HR systems entry, report generation and data review.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for the everyday LMS set-up and structure in the system for related policies, procedures and processes, which include also managing the courses and assignments for employees based on their roles, new employee and current employee registration in courses and report generation for all of the training activities.
  • Responsible for creating and administering audit and compliance training, including monitoring and editing data, creating new learning methods for existing training and revising and updating content.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy in recording, setting up and administering report administration for managers and the company overall.
  • Evaluate ongoing business requirements and training needs related, and consider how to better use and configure the LMS applications.
  • May be required to structure or create content for organizational development courses and may be responsible for drafting emails to the organization about upcoming courses. 
  • This role will be required to support the overall training and HR department in ordering catering occasionally for training courses and initiatives, both internally and with our training vendors and partners.
  • Responsible for follow up for course registration and considering new ways to promote training and development courses internally.
  • The LMS Specialist will monitor data entry, conduct training and coordinate all next steps and record and provide certifications in the LMS application and consider recognition internally as well.
  • The LMS Specialist will occasionally support other sites including some global partners in administration and coaching users in the learning management tools.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or Training.
  • Previous LMS experience required. Experience with ComplianceWire would be an asset.
  • Solid computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite applications with advanced skills, including Outlook calendaring.
  • Strong communication skills- both orally and in writing, for communications to the site.
  • Ability to facilitate training on occasion.
  • Administrative skills and solid organization skills to assist and support the departments with some administrative tasks like filing and ordering catering.
